Michael has lived in Yukon all his life and is proud to be a part of such a vibrant community. Michael began a long and successful career in banking in 1982 and has held a variety of positions at several banking institutions. He enjoys helping customers into the banking accounts and services that help them meet their short-term financial needs and long-term financial goals. Michael first came to YNB in 2006, helping customers of the East Branch as a New Accounts Representative and Teller and quickly became a customer favorite because of his bright personality and exceptional service. In 2008, Michael moved to the Parkway Branch assuming his current role of Branch Manager. With Michael in-charge, the Parkway Branch has seen considerable growth and has become one of the most trafficked YNB locations in one of Yukon’s busiest areas. Because of his success at the Parkway Branch, Michael was given the title of Assistant Vice President in 2015. With his new title, Michael began offering lending services to his customers as a loan officer. In addition to banking and lending, Michael has a passion for garden cultivation and landscaping and is currently attending OSU-OKC where he is working toward an Associate’s degree in horticulture. Consumer lending is Michael’s specialty and he enjoys helping customers secure the perfect loan.
